PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
Your deposit of one-half of the total rent must be received by Peace of Mind Villa, LLC within 5 days of booking. Failure to make this payment subjects your reservation to automatic cancellation without notice to you. The balance due of rent, Government Hotel Tax, and refundable damage deposit must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to your arrival – NO exceptions. Only ONE credit card will be accepted from a rental party for villa payment.
All cancellations and any request for changes to your reservation (such as date changes or changes in the number of persons) must be submitted IN WRITING, and sent to Peace of Mind Villa, LLC by email. No-shows, late arrivals, a reduction in number of persons in your group within 45 days of or after your arrival, and early departures from your villa are non-refundable. No subletting to another party is permitted.
No refunds will be granted unless there is a serious problem which cannot be remedied within 48 hours, and/or which causes the Guest extreme, undue discomfort or serious inconvenience (see also Complaints and Maintenance, below). Guests who abandon their villa without permission from Peace of Mind Villa, LLC agree they have no rights to compensation.
If you cancel more than 60 days prior to your arrival date (PREMIUM DATES more than 90 days), 100 percent of your total payment will be refunded to you, less any/all 3rd party transaction or processing fees, where applicable.
If you cancel between 30 and 60 days of your arrival date, you will receive back 50 percent of your payment made (PREMIUM DATES are non-refundable), less any/all 3rd party transaction or processing fees, where applicable.
If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, Peace of Mind Villa, LLC will retain 100 percent of your total rent as full liquidated damages.
If your reservation was confirmed via a third party booking site (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.), Peace of Mind Villa will mimic the cancellation and reservation policies laid forth in the reservation you confirmed via the 3rd party booking site.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT
There is a $1500 Damage Deposit which is fully refundable within 14 days of your departure, provided there is no breakage, damage, missing items, no additional cleaning for villa left abnormally dirty, long-distance calls charged to the villa’s telephone, internet or streaming charges, and no other charges incurred before, during or after your stay, still outstanding. All normal utilities (except for long-distance phone calls, internet or streaming charges, or careless/extreme/excessive use of your villa’s water supply or air-conditioning) are included in your rental price. You hereby agree to pay Peace of Mind Villa, LLC the cleaning or replacement costs for all damages to personal property or to the real estate, which may occur as a result of your occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear.
